Emergency Response Rescue Vessels (ERRV's)

Since the inception of North Sea exploration, installations have required the cover of a safety standby vessel, referred to now as an Emergency Response Rescue Vessel (ERRV).

Offshore Shipbrokers Ltd have been actively involved in this market from the early days, from the time of the old sidewinding trawlers and ex Norwegian whaling vessels to the more modern multirole vessels. In this area we have concluded several hundred fixtures over the last decade ranging from short term contracts of 24 to 48hrs right up to 'Life of Field' contracts lasting in excess of 20 years.

Our comprehensive experience is available to both Owners and Operators and is not just confined to chartering. We have been responsible for purchasing vessels for conversion as well as selling older vessels for onward trading in different roles and for scrap.
