April 2013

Alexander Tsavliris London Marathon Photo

Alexander Tsavliris successfully ran the 26.2 miles needed to complete the 2013 London Marathon in a time of 3 hours and 46 minutes. Well done Alex from all the OSL team!

This was Alex's first marathon and he was happy to be able to take part in this year's race, which he said was a particularly significant one.

Alex's said after the event.

"After the tragic events in Boston a week ago, all marathoners were able to pay a fitting tribute to those affected with 30 seconds of standing silence at the start of the race as well as a commemorative black ribbon attached on each runner's shirt in front of record crowd numbers. Together with Gift Aid and offline donations i have raised in the region of £4000 for the British Red Cross, which is a great cause."
